LETTERING GOLDEN AGE (1996–2006) è un progetto editoriale indipendente dedicato al trainwriting nel decennio 1996–2006.
Il volume nasce dall'archivio storico della rivista LETTERING e da un ampio fondo documentale costruito nel corso degli anni. È il risultato di quattro anni di ricerca, selezione e organizzazione dei materiali, con l'obiettivo di documentare uno dei periodi più significativi della storia del trainwriting.
Strutturato anno per anno, raccoglie pannelli, wholecar, yard, action, muri realizzati durante le jam, breaking, luoghi e racconti legati a immagini particolarmente significative.
LETTERING GOLDEN AGE restituisce l'atmosfera di una fase di passaggio tra la fine degli anni Novanta e i primi anni Duemila: un periodo segnato da trasformazioni urbane e sociali, dalla ridefinizione degli spazi pubblici e da un cambiamento nel modo di produrre stile, far circolare immagini e costruire reti. Attraverso una lettura visiva rigorosa, il libro ricostruisce anno per anno un decennio centrale per l'evoluzione del trainwriting.

LETTERING GOLDEN AGE (1996–2006) is an independent publishing project dedicated to trainwriting during the decade from 1996 to 2006.
The volume is based on the historical archive of LETTERING magazine and an extensive documentary collection built over many years. It is the result of four years of research, selection and organization of materials, with the aim of documenting one of the most significant periods in the history of trainwriting.
Organized year by year, the book features panels, wholecars, yards, actions, walls painted during jams, breaking, locations and stories connected to significant images from the period.
LETTERING GOLDEN AGE captures the atmosphere of a transitional era between the late 1990s and the early 2000s: a period marked by urban and social transformations, the redefinition of public spaces, and changing ways of producing style, circulating images and building networks. Through a rigorous visual approach, the book reconstructs, year by year, a decade that was central to the evolution of trainwriting.
